6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel Engines
The 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine can be paired to two different transmissions, a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. When paired to the manual transmission the Ram 3500 produces 350 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque and when paired to the automatic transmission the Ram 3500 produces 370 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque. The 6.7L Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel engine is paired to the AISIN 6-speed automatic transmission and this produces 385 horsepower and best-in-class 900 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, the Ram 3500 has a towing capacity between 17,750 and 31,200 pounds and a payload capacity between 4,020 and 6,720 pounds.
