2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Receives Impressive EPA Ratings

The first Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, an all-new vehicle from Jeep, has now earned their official range and total efficiency ratings from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This new Jeep large-SUV carries a 17 kWh battery just like the Jeep Wrangler 4xe SUV. The good news for those who held out for the all-new Jeep entry, the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe will have a higher all-electric driving range by a few miles. The EPA reports have the all-electric range set at 25 miles. The 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe offers customers a range of 21 miles electric range according to the EPA. Jeep has added a new High Tide Special Edition Jeep Wrangler for customers who are interested in switching things up in time for summer.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Perks Revealed

The total driving range is marked at 470 miles, as the 2022 Grand Cherokee is set to grab quite the amount of attention. The EPA Energy consumption in EV mode supplies 56 highway MPGe and 57 MPGe ratings. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe will begin at $57,000 MSRP (Plus destination fee). There is a $7,500 federal tax credit owners can look into, as we know any drivers are interested in getting a deal. There’s a 400-volt battery system in place with a 2.0-Liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with the electric motor generator that is mounted in the transmission. This means Jeep is replacing the torque converter. Two clutches help to control power and torque from the e-motor and engine. Jeep offers customers as much as 6,000 pounds of maximum towing capacity.

The largest plans have already come in for the Jeep brand, but now the reinforcements are making their way.
