2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Surging Ahead of the Bronco

The Ford Bronco is losing the battle against its rivals, namely the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Ford is also upset to learn the 2021 Ford Bronco did not earn a Top Safety Pick Award due to head restraints and lights that were rated as acceptable. The four-door SUV earned a marginal rating for their headlights. The testing was done by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The IIHS is making the call to not list the Bronco on their Top Safety Picks and Jeep is only making more of a push for the famed Wrangler. The premiere luxury vehicles made by Jeep have arrived with eventual EV trims expected to follow within a few years. 

How the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer Are Different Jeep Vehicles

The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer do not carry a Jeep badge that is usually found on the hood, tailgate, dashboard, and steering wheel. The Jeep brand made these vehicles to supply buyers with an all-new luxurious lineup. The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer SUV are both large-row SUVs that hold eight passengers. The Grand Wagoneer is a former Jeep nameplate that was used from 1963 through 1991. While the retro dual-color doors that carried a wooden aesthetic are removed, we are happy to see how much improved this vehicle is. The interior of the Grand Wagoneer contains McIntosh audio, night vision, 24-way massaging front seats, lovely Palermo leather and butcher-block-style wood trim. The 2022 Jeep model year vehicles are looking wonderful for the Jeep brand.

2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Power Is Obvious

The 471 horsepower, 6.4-Liter V8 engine inside the Grand Wagoneer is a premium choice. The interior boasts a 12-inch digital cluster display, 12-inch center color touchscreen, plus a 10-inch lower touchscreen to control the seats and climate control. The strength of this Jeep SUV is evident with its maximum towing capacity of 9,860 pounds and a stout 0-60 second time of 6.0 seconds flat. We are quite an admirer of the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Jeep includes standard safety features like emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, forward-collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning and comes with 10-inch maximum ground clearance.
