Engine Type

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler offers five different engines. The base trim offers a 285-horsepower 3.6-Liter V6 engine with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine is optional and functions with an electric motor providing low-end power, but this engine is only available with the eight-speed automatic. In addition to the standard V6 and optional four-cylinder hybrid, the Wrangler offers a 3.6-Liter V6 with a similar hybrid assist, a 375 horsepower plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain. The strongest and most robust option is the 6.4-Liter V8. The Jeep Wrangler was built to be off-road friendly, that in mind, part-time four-wheel drive comes standard with every trim. This function is controlled by a lever on the center console.

Inside the 2024 Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler adds new tech and sharpens the design for 2024, with an updated grille and ten new wheel designs. A stealth antenna was added into the windshield. The 2024 model year offers the unique Willys trim that provides greater, larger tires, a rear locker, and further ground clearance. The plug-in hybrid 4xe engine arrives for the Sport and Rubicon X trims; hybrid trims also gain a 3.6-kilowatt auxiliary battery for powering devices.

Exterior Features

Jeep enhances the exterior with a raised seven-slot grille. Add wider slots for improved airflow, and the integration of the antenna into the windshield frame and the Wrangler looks sleeker than ever. Traditional Wrangler features of this off-road champion with iconic round headlights and an upright grille are still provided. The Wrangler continues to offer two body styles, two-door or four-door. Both have available half doors, removable doors, and several options for removable tops, including a new Sky One-Touch powertop that acts like a power convertible top. Select from eight trims, ten wheel designs, and ten paint options, the Wrangler is a highly customizable SUV.

Interior Features

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler provides an array of both retro style and modern Jeep tie-ins. Owners gain a massive and clear sight of the road with an open view for drivers. The interior includes roll bars, solid roof pillars, and multiple grab handles. Owners have standard 12-way power-adjustable front seats, which have been tested for water fording. For the higher trims, the Wrangler has thicker carpeting, acoustic front glass, and active noise-cancellation capabilities. Spacious as ever, the Wrangler is safe for five entrants. The 2024 Wrangler offers an Unlimited four-door trim that offers the peak of Wrangler engineering.

Entertainment

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler supplies an updated infotainment package. Owners will enjoy an improved Uconnect 5 infotainment system. An easy-to-see and simple to use, swift to respond system, The screen is a 12.3-inch color touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard and works wirelessly. For those that opt for onboard navigation, there are more than 2,000 mapped trails to find and explore for those that want to explore the roads less traveled.

Safety Features and Warranty

New for the 2024 Wrangler is the addition of a set of newly standard first- and second-row side-curtain airbags. Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking is also available to alert the driver when it senses a potential frontal impact and can automatically engage the brakes if said driver does not respond. Additional driver assistance features that are available include Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection, and the ParkView Rear Back Up Camera. As for the vehicle’s warranty, the limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles, while the powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles. All 2024 Jeep Wrangler models also come with three years of free maintenance.
