Which Cab is the True “King?” Ram 1500 Quad Cab v. Nissan Titan King Cab
Looking for a new truck with a medium sized cab for an awesome price? There’s a couple options out there, but two of the closest competitors are a Ram 1500 quad cab and a Nissan Titan King Cab. Nissan? Yep, Nissan and with a name like King Cab it sounds like a better bet than a quad cab, right? No. The Ram 1500 quad cab with a 5.7L engine is actually more spacious, more capable and more affordable than the Titan Nissan King Cab. The base trim Ram 1500 Quad cab is just $30,595 while the Titan’s King Cab is $32,550.
|Ram 1500 Quad Cab||Nissan Titan King Cab|
|Passenger room||52.4 cubic feet||35.8 cubic feet|
|Passenger room||64.2 cubic feet||62.6 cubic feet|
As you can see, the Nissan king cab only beats the Ram quad cab in one category (front leg room), but it is only by a little. Aside from that one measurement, the quad cab has more space in all other measurements in comparison to the quad cab.
Additionally, the Ram 1500 quad cab with a standard 3.6L engine has a much lower MSRP (as low as$30,690) than the Nissan Titan King Ca, which starts at $32,550.
