If you are looking for something to do this Valentine’s Day weekend, you have also come to the right place. The national day of love is coming up this Friday, so hopefully you already have secured your plans for the romantic holiday. Whether it’s dinner and a movie, swimming with dolphins, or a romantic ride down the coast, Valentine’s Day planning can be frustrating. The common consensus is that the special day is reserved only for couples, but we have compiled a list of fun things to do in Miami this Valentine’s Day whether or not you have a sweetheart.
- Singles Celebrity Match-Up Game: This is the perfect night out for those who don’t already have a Valentine. Head down to Segafredo Brickell in Miami, get your celebrity name tag, and begin your search for your celebrity couples match. Once you find your match, grab a free cocktail at the bar to celebrate your victory. The event starts at 8pm and is free.
- Lewis Black at the Fillmore: The famous comedian is performing his ‘The Rant is Due’ show at the Fillmore on Valentine’s day right here in Miami. Bring your Valentine, or head to the show with a group of friends. Tickets are still available for the show Friday night.
- Triple Threat ballet: Get in touch with your sensitive side, and head to the Arsht Center at 7pm for Miami City Ballet’s third production of the season. The ballet is a special take on West Side Story.
- A Wild Affair: Head over to Jungle Island for a VIP Valentine’s party on the beach. Live music by Brendan O’Hara on the beach, as well as outdoor showings of romantic classics like Sleepless in Seattle, and When Harry Met Sally. Wine, cheese, and desserts are included in the cost of admission.
Whatever you end up doing this Valentine’s Day, we hope it’s one for the record books.
