Dan Aykroyd Donates Dodge Charger to Good Cause
Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram has one of the largest selections of vehicles in the local area, making it a great alternative for Dadeland Dodge customers who are looking to make a change for the better.
Dan Aykroyd may be one of the biggest names in Hollywood, but that does not mean he is out of touch with society.
Recently, the famous actor donated a Dodge Charger to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department in Mississippi. He chose this department because he currently serves as a reserve deputy on its force.
While many people have come across a police equipped Charger in the past, this one is unique in many ways, including the fact that it has emblems from two of his top films, Ghostbusters and Blues Brothers.
It is nice to see Aykroyd giving back to the department that he has been part of since January. It may be hard for some to believe, but Aykroyd is not all talk. He has taken to the streets with other members of the department to assess some of the area’s more troubling issues.
He added the following when discussing his chance to take a closer look at the area:
“I’m very excited about seeing that. It will help me to assess some of the other needs me and my friends might be able to help the department with.”
The Dodge Charger is one of the top cars on the road for everyday drivers as well as police departments throughout the country. It is safe to assume that the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department is happy with the most recent addition to its fleet, as another car can always come in handy when fighting crime.
