Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has a lot of good news coming in for multiple brands. Ending 2018 on a high note for FCA, Dodge, Ram and Jeep are three brands part of the FCA umbrella that were awarded recognition by Strategic Vision. Strategic Vision has reported their Total Quality Impact (TQI) report for 24 years in a row with the Dodge Durango winning the Mid-size SUV segment for the fifth time in six years.
The latest 2019 Dodge Durango has never looked better with a class-leading maximum towing capability (8,700 pounds) and driving range. The Durango boasts thanks to Fuel Saver Technology within it’s HEMI engines allowing drivers to gain 26 highway MPG with the rear-wheel-drive option. The latest Jeep® Renegade and Ram 2500/3500 seized wins in the Entry SUV and Heavy-Duty Pickups segments. Let’s take a close look at the various reasons these brands were awarded and continue to impress.
2019 Dodge Durango: As Impressive As Ever
Rugged, powerful and luxurious. The 2019 Dodge Durango gives customers three powertrain choices and provides consumers with options in five trims, ranging from the SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel and SRT. There are many configurations and choices available for drivers to choose from. The available options are a large reason the Durango has done so well among customers and critics alike. This three-row SUV provides 43.3 cubic-feet of storage room and provides 85 cubic-feet of total storage space with both the second and third rows folded down.
“TQI shows how people feel about their vehicles in their own words, which reveal valuable recommendations for future products. From how customers are advocating about their products, automotive manufacturers can know where the future of the U.S. market is going,” says Chris Chaney, Senior Vice President at Strategic Vision.
TQI focuses not solely on quality, but shapes their outcomes based on how the perceived quality has influenced drivers on an emotional level. Strategic Vision’s TQI report is based on results from the New Vehicle Experience Study® (NVES). The NVES includes over 44,000 responses from new vehicle buyers after the first 90 days of ownership. During July and December, the results are compiled. It includes the influence of difficulties with the vehicle as well as the drivers’ rational and personal evaluations of quality. No other vehicle has impressive TQI and Strategic Vision like the Dodge Durango.
