Great News for the Ram 3500 When it Comes to Capability

Look out heavy-duty pickup trucks, the 2018 Ram 3500 is almost here with “chart-topping capabilities.” FCA just released some huge news regarding the Ram 3500 that will impress anyone looking for a long-lasting, hard-working, powerful and capable truck.
For the 2018 model year, Ram 3500 models equipped with a Cummins 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel I-6 engine for will have the highest torque rating a pickup truck has ever had. Modifications and tweaks to the vehicle’s drivetrain made by Cummins and Ram boosted the truck’s torque output to 930 lb-ft. Wow! In addition, the newly designed hitch will allow for a fifth-wheel towing capacity of 30,000 pounds. That is more than enough capability for most people’s needs!
Just as a reminder, the Cummins 6.7L diesel engines are great for more than just their power. Other benefits of diesel engine include better gas mileage, a longer-lasting engine, and a higher resale value.
The best news is, you don’t have to wait much longer for this brand new Ram 3500! These models are starting to roll off the assembly line very soon and are planning to hit dealership soon!
