The 2015 Challenger and Charger are among the most popular vehicles in the Dodge lineup. There are many reasons for this, including the top of the line performance, good looks, and variety of features and available options.

When you visit a Dodge dealership in Miami, your attention may turn to the Challenger or Charger Hellcat. This is more than your average vehicle. Instead, these models are powered by the world-renowned 707 horsepower Hellcat Hemi engine.

What’s the Problem?

Unfortunately, the high demand of the Hellcat has made it difficult for dealerships across the country to keep up with consumers. Buyers are flocking in large numbers, hoping to purchase one of these vehicles, but finding that availability is limited.

Dodge is well aware of the problem, and is doing its best to find a solution. Recently, the automaker ordered 1,000 more supercharged Challenger and Charter HEMIs to be built.

What isn’t known is the number of Hellcat Charger and Challenger models that were previously ordered.

The Good News

Dodge is taking the steps necessary to ensure that everybody interested in buying one of these vehicles is in position to do so in the near future.

There are at least 1,000 people who are waiting to receive their pre-ordered muscle car. And you can guarantee that many others will join that list, which will force Dodge to make some big decisions as the spring and summer months arrive.

While some automakers cap production, Dodge has not indicated this will be the case anytime in the near future. The company continues to insist it will produce as many Challenger and Charger Hellcats as necessary to keep up with the ever growing demand.

It’s hard to imagine that two vehicles with a starting price in the $60,000’s would garner so much attention, but Dodge definitely hit a homerun with both these models.

All in all, this is a good problem to have. It is better to have cars that are in high demand, as opposed to those that sit on dealer lots for many months on end.
