Ram pickups are now one of the most respected vehicle segments in the United States. Hard data has come about in the last half decade to show just how much ground Ram has gained since becoming its own brand less than two decades ago. The total amount of registered pickup trucks in the U.S. jumped by 71% between 1995 and 2019. This figure totals trucks at 28.2 million in 1995 to 48.3 million by the end of last decade. This data from the U.S. Department of Transportation shows the growth and important of building vehicles that offer more for more people.

Why Are Pickups Are So Popular?

Pickups have become that destination for business owners and families alike. With returns like this, Stellantis, the parent company of Ram, will continue to improve and create more sums for production and EV capabilities to improve in the coming years and decades ahead. Averaging around 30,000 Ram trucks sold every month last year in 2023, these figures have held steady all decade. Over 100,000 Rams bought every quarter is the expectation for Ram in 2024.

Keep in mind that Ram saw its Ram 1500 earn a place on J.D. Power’s Initial Quality. We are in love with the current Ram line-up.

Selecting Ram Is Why Owners Return Again and Again

Ram trucks have several notable advantages over other popular vehicles, regardless of their brand or segment type.  Owners select Ram over sedans, crossover SUVs, and many prefer them to minivans. Rugged features and total useful practicalities offered by a truck bed, improved ground clearance, and a sturdy powertrain is what allows pickups their tremendous resale value. That’s what makes them so valuable during and when an owner moves on from their vehicle.  Ram trucks have long built their brand ahead of others and will offer their Ram 1500 Rev (the first-ever electric Ram) within a few quarters. We can’t wait!

Electric Noise Being Made

The electric Ram 1500 is going to be “adjusted every month” according to the brand’s CEO. The capabilities are to be revised, the perks added, and value increased with every tiny push forward till the vehicle is deemed worthy for showrooms. Ram is ready to come at 2024 with all the changes customers have craved. The upcoming Ram 1500 is setting up to offer more standard luxury in the interior with use for multiple functions than a typical pickup.

“We are preparing the EV pickup trucks for 2024, and we are doing it by adjusting the specs and adjusting the performance in function of what we see coming up from our competitors. It’s a fact that we are coming slightly after them. But it’s also a fact that we have the opportunity to adjust the competitiveness and the appeal of our own trucks to what they are doing, which is a competitive game, which is a fantastic situation for the consumer because the real winner of this competition is the consumer,” Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares.

While we wait for the technology of the next decade, imagine the possibilities of the technology of today at Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
