Stylings inspired by Chinese culture

When we look at Jeep, we think of American stylings and a proud American vehicle. However, Jeep took a trip to the 2014 Beijing Motor Show to show everyone that it can make a big play for the Chinese crossover market. They brought along a quartet of styling concepts for the Renegade, Cherokee, and Wrangler, all inspired by Chinese culture, and it went over quite well. As a Jeep dealer, Miami could not be a better home for us, but we do believe that production runs of these concepts could do remarkably well in the Chinese crossover market.

As we’d mentioned, among the concepts was the beloved newbie of the Jeep lineup, the Renegade. We have the Zi You Xia concept pictured above for you, and that comes from the Mandarin for “rebel.” It is sweetly painted in Warm Chocolate Gray with Dark Anodized Bronze trim, and it sits on 20-inch wheels. The roof, grille surround, and mirror caps are done in a quite complimentary Dark Charcoal color, and it really accents the overall look. With the interior being a mix of dark brown leather and Anodized Copper trim, they really brought the swank with this compact crossover concept!

The Cherokee had a pair of concepts to share as well. The Cherokee Sageland and Urbane concepts are meant to show to some different sides of Chinese style. Drawing inspiration from the Shangri-La Region, the Sageland sports an Ivory Pearl tri-coat paint with bronze trim on the outside, and the interior is covered in Gray Nappa leather with both red and blue stitching. The Urbane’s look comes straight out of the nightlife of the cities. With an exterior color called Maximum Steel and a Hyper Black trim, you know it fits right it. The interior combines the sleek Piano Black trim with dark red leather seats.

Last up for the concepts is the Wrangler Sundancer concept. It wears a tri-coat Chocolate Brown metallic paint with gold accents, bronze fender flares and bronze-tinted glass. For that added dose of inspired style, the front and rear bumpers are fitted with LED lights, and it rides on 20-inch pale gold wheels with polished gold inserts. As for the interior on this one, it is covered in Berry Baltique leather, which is a very warm red tone of the brown family, paired with pale gold trim.d
