The 4×4 options come with a front-axle disconnect system that has been added to all newer models.

The 400-volt battery pack that is included in the Wrangler 4xe and the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe trim will carry the same pack that allows for 25 miles of all-electric driving. The two electric motors paired to the 2.0-Liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The rough estimate combined is around a 500-mile driving range. The 4xe trim choice is available in most trim options for the Grand Cherokee including the Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve. The available off-road steady trim, the Trailhawk 4xe is the true champion to drive.
