Spied: Next Generation Ram 1500
According to The Drive, a spy photographer waited outside Fiat-Chrysler’s headquarters in Michigan over the weekend and was able to get several photos of the next-generation Ram 1500, after wind blew the cover off a truck. It’s hard to see what might be different from what we have been able to see but here are a couple of things we were able to pick up on.
- Cross-hair grille – The grille for the new generation model has horizontal slats according to The Drive. This might be a new standard for the model or just a new available option.
- Headlights – The next-gen Ram has sleeker headlights that appear to be raised more and now even with the grille. In addition, it also seems like the headlights have LEDs for even base models under the projector like the ones found on other models including Dodge performance vehicles.
- Fender – The fender of the pickup has some new creases and folds that make it appear more distinctive and aggressive than previous model years.
That’s all we know right now from the spied truck. However, the next-gen 2019 Ram 1500 is set to debut at the North American International Auto Show in January 2018. Not too far away! If you are currently looking for a Ram 1500 in Kendall, we have plenty of models for you to test drive. View our Ram truck inventory.
