What Did You Think of Jeep’s Super Bowl Ads?
In case you have somehow managed to miss it, the all new Jeep Grand Cherokee has been the star of the Jeep lineup this year. The all-new redesigned version of the Grand Cherokee has been capturing the attention of everyone who has set eyes on it, and for good reason. The rugged SUV is turning heads coast to coast, and has been front and center at all of the auto shows so far this year. The model has also helped Chrysler set great sales goals, with the popular model already looking to break records this year. Your local roadways aren’t the only stage the new Jeep Grand Cherokee has been taking lately, and made quite an impression this past Sunday.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles featured three ads in this year’s Super Bowl. Two of the three ads were starring the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The commercial did not jump off the screen with over-the-top antics, and was in no way award-worthy, but the automotive company did what it set out to do – put a spotlight on the newly redesigned SUV. The commercials showed the Cherokee in the best light possible, from differing angles. The commercial also highlighted what the Cherokee was meant to do – be adventurous. Restless is the name of the Super Bowl ad, which showed adventurous young people, doing adventurous things. From skateboarding, surfing, and cliff jumping – the Cherokee was there for it all.
While the commercial may not have been the attention-grabbing, in-your-face, type of advertisement other companies went for – we think that it did a good job showing the Cherokee doing what the new Cherokee was meant to do. When it comes down to it, the mere sight of the all-new Cherokee is enough to capture our attention, so we would categorize this one as a “win” for Jeep.
