Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Will Take Over the Market

Looking for a unique pickup that offers remarkable off-road talent and remains fully functional? The all-new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator fits the profile. Boasting rigorous testing to help ensure the Gladiator will be able to handle offroad travels, there are few vehicles able to withstand as much as the upcoming Jeep pickup can. Jeep vehicles became world famous for their ability to go nearly anywhere and the latest Jeep pickup is no different. Let’s explore how Jeep made the Gladiator as capable as it is and what owners will gain upon purchasing one.
What Jeep Made the Gladiator Go Through
A close look at the Yucca testing grounds in Davis Dam, Arizona shows the rigors the 2020 Jeep Gladiator underwent to become polished, capable and ready to undertake extreme off-road elements. The Jeep Gladiator was put through a number of tests including water fording tests where the results show the Gladiator can handle going through 30 inches of water. Another test was a 2,950-foot climb over just 11.4 miles long while fully loaded to the max with a combined with of 12,800 pounds; the Gladiator easily succeeded. Made to be durable, strong and embody everything that an owner would expect of a Jeep vehicle. The design takes the ever-popular current Jeep Wrangler model and extends its look outward with a durable steel truck bed. Jeep fans rejoice as the look is just part of what makes this Jeep vehicle so great.
Everything That Makes the Gladiator Stand Out
The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been heralded as the most off-road capable mid-size truck ever by Jeep. This is thanks to the available front and rear locking differentials, cab and bedrock rails, a disconnecting sway bar, two front, and rear tow hooks, a 4:1 transfer case with 33-inch off-road tires, skid plates, and an off-road camera. This pickup is equipped to handle all the demands going off-road requires, including those all-important skid plates to protect the Gladiator’s undercarriage. Offering Best-in-class towing up to 7,650 pounds (with the 4×4 crew-cab) and the largest brakes in the midsize pickup segment, the Gladiator looks as intimidating as it is powerful.
“We absolutely wanted it to look different, bold and stand out from anything else, but give you everything that the truck buyer was looking for and everything that Wrangler has always been known for,” said Tim Kuniskis, president of the Jeep Brand for Fiat Chrysler
What else can the 2020 Jeep Gladiator claim?
Owners will rejoice knowing the 2020 Gladiator pickup has Best-in-class payload of 1,600 pounds, a large 60” all-steel truck bed, up to 11.1” ground clearance for easy off-roading driving. The Gladiator provides lockable heavy duty dana 44 front and rear axles for the Rubicon model that helps provide maximum stability and handling. Command-Trac, and Rock-Trac 4×4 systems, 5-link coil front and rear suspension help ease over bumps and crossing over any terrain. Unfortunately, there is no price point currently for the Jeep Gladiator. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) expects to see the all-new Jeep pickup earn its place, just as the Jeep Wrangler has. Looking to drive a new Jeep? There’s one place to go for that.
