Witness the Arrival of the Jeep Wagoneer S Soon

Jeep will see the release of their first EV, the Jeep Wagoneer S this fall.  Brand new images of the upcoming crossover have generated buzz and the details emerging include a 600-horsepower all-wheel-drive powertrain. The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S was originally unveiled alongside a boxy, off-road-geared EV called the Jeep Recon, also due next year. A report from Automotive News says the two electric Jeep rides could also end up being sold with internal-combustion engines to go with the electrified versions as well. This will generate better sales, of course.

Creating the Newest Jeep SUVs

Both the upcoming Jeep Recon and Wagoneer S will be made on the new STLA Large platform. This will support electric, pure-gas, and hybrid engines being created. The choice to go full-on into the EV business matches with other moves from the parent company of Jeep, Stellantis, and their plans. We have seen EV sales growth begins to slow, but that is due to the fact that Stellantis has not entered the realm yet with all their iconic brands including Dodge, planning on releasing their first EV, the Dodge Charger Daytona. The Charger will offer both electric and inline-six powertrains. This is the case across the Atlantic with EV and hybrid powertrains being sold in Europe as well.

2025 Plans And Beyond

Antonio Filosa was appointed CEO of Jeep in November 2023 and has sought to bring back the the mid-size SIV market. Filosa said the plan is first “to launch the products into the mid-size SUV segment. Now, we might see a new entry of the same size as the Jeep Cherokee in the lineup in about a year in a year or roughly the end of 2025. The plan is to add more selection for what has done well, as was the case when the company moved on from some nameplates recently.

Solid Compact Sales Help Compass Stick Around

Jeep has moved on from the Jeep Renegade after the 2023 model year with no 2024 model made and no plans to add it back for 2025. The Jeep Compass is now the base compact Jeep SUV after sales improved in the last few years. Jeep has put together a new era with production set to reshape the brand in time for 2025 and beyond.
