2018 is going to be a great year for the Jeep brand. There are currently six different Jeep SUV models and they all offer consumers style, capability and unique. Of the six models, the Renegade is one of the most unique, here’s a closer look at everything it has to offer in 2018.

The 2018 Renegade lineup includes four trims, the Renegade Sport, Renegade Latitude, Renegade Limited and Renegade Trailhawk. With the exception of the Renegade Trailhawk, which is only available with a 4×4 drivetrain, the other Renegade trims are available with a 4×4 or 4×2 drivetrain.
A 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine comes standard on the 2018 Jeep Renegade. The 1.4L engine produces 160 horsepower, 174 lb-ft of torque and gives the Renegade an impressive fuel economy of 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Buyers can also opt for a more powerful option with the available 180-horsepower 2.4-liter I4 Tigershark engine, which is standard on the Renegade Trailhawk.
The Renegade has a unique and recognizable exterior body style. The four-door and five-passenger vehicle is a compact SUV and buyers have plenty of options when it comes to deciding on a paint color. Standard exterior features include all-season tires, 16-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, a rear spoiler, black door handles, daytime running halogen lamps and so much more.
The interior of the Jeep Renegade is both smooth and comfortable as well as good-looking. The standard upholstery is cloth and there are several different color options. Other interior standard features include low-back bucket seats, a rear 60/40 split folding seat, and a silver shift knob. As expected, there are plenty of upgrade options, many of which that come standard with higher level trims like the Renegade Limited and Trailhawk trims. These features include heated seats, leather seats, larger 17- or 18-inch wheels, off-road tires, all-season tires, a black roof, a roof rack and more.
Jeep added several new tech features to the 2018 Renegade lineup, and they enhance the vehicle’s entertainment and safety. Basic features like, advanced multistage airbags, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control come standard. Electric power steering, panic brake assist, and tire pressure monitoring all come standard as well even on the base time. Additional safety tech like a back up camera, remote start system, keyless go and speed control are offered for higher trim levels.
Entertainment features include a standard 5-inch touchscreen with the UConnect 5.0 system for the Renegade Sport and the new 7-inch UConnect 4 system for other Renegade trims (optional for the Renegade Sport). The new UConnect 4 comes loaded with great features including Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, hands-free calling, satellite radio, and much sharper graphics than before.
Price for the base trim level Sport begins at just $19,540! The Renegade comes with a three-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
