 2018 ram truck lineup changes

The 2018 Ram truck lineup is just around the corner and for the most part the lineup remains close to unchanged, but, there are a couple notable changes including a new luxury model for the Ram 1500 and HD (heavy duty) trucks (the Limited Tungsten Edition) and the improved torque capability on the Ram 3500.  Here’s a closer look at some of the new things coming to the Ram brand in 2018.

The all-new Tungsten edition is perhaps the most luxurious Ram truck package ever seen. The package is available on the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500. High-end features including suede headliner, premium leather seats, and 20-inch rims come standard. The exterior of these models is covered in a Tungsten chrome finish including the grille, badging, wheels and more. Stepping inside the Tungsten edition besides the leather seats, you will find chrome finish, blue stitching, Tungsten badging and real wood trim.

Ram is constantly finding ways to increase power and torque for their heavy duty trucks. The more power and torque, the better the towing capacity! In addition, Ram and Mopar are now offering a redesigned 5th wheel towing hitch for all HD trucks (rated at 30,000 pounds). The 6.7-liter Cummins Diesel I6 engine (3500 series only) is now rated at 385 horsepower and 930 lb-ft of torque, wow!
