The Ram ProMaster is a highly customizable cargo van that gives businesses many options when selecting the style, power and size needed. The Ram Promaster is offered with three different body styles, chassis cab, cargo van and cutaway van and there are also three available models, 1500, 2500 and 3500. There are three wheelbase lengths 118”, 136” and 159”. Ram ProMaster cargo vans with the 118” or 136” wheelbase are available with a cargo height of 65.4” (low roof) and 76” (high roof) and vans with the 159” wheelbase come standard with a 76” cargo height.
The Ram ProMaster comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 24-Valve VVT engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and an auxiliary transmission cooler. The engine and transmission deliver 260 lb-ft of torque and best-in-class 280 horsepower, and all of that power gives the Ram ProMaster cargo van a towing capacity of 5,100 pounds and a payload capacity of 4,400 pounds.
Additional standard features shared by all trims includes, 180-amp alternator with the option to add a 220-amp alternator, a manual park brake handle, and power rack-and-pinion steering. A heavy duty suspension comes standard on the Ram 2500 ProMaster cargo van, Ram 2500 ProMaster cargo van, Ram 3500 ProMaster cargo van, and a Ram 3500 ProMaster cargo van, all with the high roof and 159” wheelbase. The Ram 1500 ProMaster cargo van with a low roof 118 has a standard light duty suspension, while the 1500 cargo can with a low roof or high roof has a 136” wheelbase has a medium duty suspension.

Whether taking a long road trip or running a simple errand, the interior cabin of the Pacifica Hybrid is refreshing. The Pacifica Hybrid base trim has seating for up to seven passengers and with the cabin’s exceptional head and hip room, everyone can sit comfortably. The third-row seats can also be folded down to create a 60/40 bench while offering some additional cargo space. Standard features on the Pacifica Hybrid Limited include Premium Nappa Leather-Trimmed Bucket seats, power passenger lumbar adjust and Power 8-way passenger seating.
The exterior styling of the 2018 Ram Promaster includes a dark gray front fascia, grille and rear bumper. For added convenience, high roof, manual fold-away mirrors, rear hinged doors without glass and side wall cargo tie down rings come standard equipped on all trims. The Ram ProMaster are equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, all-season tires and a 16-inch steel spare wheel. Optional features include 16-inch aluminum wheels plus wheel covers and splash guards.
A 260-degree opening rear hinged doors and sliding passenger-side door without glass is standard, but rear hinged doors with deep tinted glass and sliding passenger-side door with fixed glass are optional features for all trims. Options available only on the 2500 Cargo High Roof 136WB, 2500 Cargo High Roof 159WB, 3500 Cargo High Roof 159WB, and 3500 Cargo High Roof 159WB EXT include a sliding driver door with or without fixed glass.

The 2018 Ram Promaster delivers an exceptional entertainment and navigation system – especially for those drivers who are primarily on the road. All seven trims come standard equipped with Uconnect 3 5.0-inch touchscreen display, four speakers, integrated voice command with bluetooth, media hub (USB/AUX), media input hub, remote USB port, and steering wheel mounted audio controls. Optional entertainment features include, Uconnect 3 Nav with 5-inch display and 1 year subscriptions of SiriusXM Sat Radio – available for all trims.
When traveling with a large amount with cargo, safety is of utmost importance – among a number of other important features. The Promaster trims share all standard and option safety features. Some of those standard safety features include, Brake Assist for emergency braking, all speed traction control, electronic roll mitigation and ParkView backup camera. Optional features include, DOT certified roadside safety kit, ParkSense rear park assist system, and a security alarm.
