The latest Ram pickups to hit the market this year have seen upgrades across the board in terms of more advanced and modern interiors, greater technology and luxurious finishes. Customers have a choice between the newest 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman, the base model, and perks that serve owners with high-end luxury in the top-tier trim, the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited.

The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 has become more powerful across the board, but customers will wonder how much of the latest available features are worth the extra money? The 2019 Tradesman trim is strong with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and the eTorque 48V mild-hybrid setup under the hood, offering 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Power is not a problem for all trims on the latest 2019 Ram 1500. The smaller engine in the Tradesman is rather powerful even when compared to the larger engine options. Quick off the line as well, the 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman goes from 0 to 60 mph in merely 10 seconds. Not only fast, but strong with 6,280 pounds of maximum towing.  The Tradesman offers ample suspension for drivers with coil springs on all four corners, rather than the conventional leaf spring setup in the rear that most trucks offer. Pricing for the Tradesman model hits at $31,795 MSRP (plus destination fee).

How’s That All-New Ram Ride?

When compared with the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, owners will gain a four-corner air suspension and have the option of the large 5.7-liter HEMI V8 powertrain that can come equipped with or without the eTorque system or stick with the standard V6 engine. If choosing the former (also available across the lineup), this substantial engine produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With eTorque, the engine produces an additional 120 lb-ft of torque. A large HEMI powertrain is reliable and helps the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited gain speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 8 seconds, a whole 2 seconds faster in just a short distance. Both engines are designed with variable valve timing (VVT) technology to optimize their engine’s performance and fuel economy. A TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission is also paired with both engines. The Tradesman comes with 18-inch wheels while the Limited rides on 22-inch wheels. The larger engine with eTorque offer the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited a best-in-class V8 maximum towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds.

The power is higher and the drive strength is quite more enjoyable with the air suspension. But the real premier options are included inside the interior for owners to enjoy. For those that are driving often and spend a great deal of time inside their truck, the next piece of information is critical.

The Best Interior Ram Has Ever Produced

With the 2019 Ram 1500, the biggest feature is found standard in the Limited with the huge 12-inch touchscreen apart of the infotainment system. There are more storage components inside the Limited trim as the glove box can slide upwards to reveal a hidden cubby in the dashboard. The Tradesman only carries a 5-inch touchscreen by comparison. There’s also the impressive Harman Kardon 19-speakers with a subwoofer, active noise cancellation also makes the Limited way better for drivers and passengers to enjoy with the Limited trim.

2019 Ram 1500 pickup has been named “Best of Show” by Cars.com. Whether the Tradesman or the Limited trim, the Ram 1500 is lighter, stronger and more advanced than ever. The redesigned 2019 Ram 1500 with its eTorque 48-volt mild hybrid system, which supplies better fuel economy for both V6 and V8 engines, also increases torque. The base model Tradesman gets owners 20 city and 25 highway mpg. The owners of the Limited trim that choose the V8 HEMI with eTorque gain 17 city and 23 highway MPG on a 4×2 drivetrain.
