If choosing the former (also available across the lineup), this substantial engine produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. With eTorque, the engine produces an additional 120 lb-ft of torque. A large HEMI powertrain is reliable and helps the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited gain speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 8 seconds, a whole 2 seconds faster in just a short distance. Both engines are designed with variable valve timing (VVT) technology to optimize their engine’s performance and fuel economy. A TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission is also paired with both engines. The Tradesman comes with 18-inch wheels while the Limited rides on 22-inch wheels. The larger engine with eTorque offer the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited a best-in-class V8 maximum towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds.
