2020 Dodge Charger Gains Interior Upgrades
The 2020 Dodge Charger is expected by customers to be fast, strong and powerful. There is no debating this car made by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Dodge will be the complete muscle car. However, despite not changing the frame of the vehicle, the Charger will see multiple interior changes including two prominent interior changes. We are expecting the Dodge Charger to remain the bestselling big sedan in America.
What’s New for the Upcoming Charger?
FCA and Dodge finally debuted the widebody version for the Dodge Charger, an option for both the Scat Pack and Hellcat trims, as well as the newest Dodge Charger Daytona Edition. Faithful Dodge owners will notice the smallest cabin changes. Only one of the changes is standard across all trims, as most are unique to a specific model.
New Dodge Charger Interior Badging
One change to the 2020 Dodge Charger lineup can be found in the Scat Pack and Hellcat trims. The Scat Pack Charger now has a unique badge placed close to the passenger’s side dash vent with the 392 logo and the angry Scat Pack bee. The Hellcat Charger trim also receives a new badge in the same exact spot. The badge hosts the Dodge hash mark logos in black next to a red SRT Hellcat head logo.
Drivers that opt for the R/T Scat Pack trim without the optional widebody package, have the choice of a Dynamics Package. Included in this package are Brembo six-piston front brakes and 20×9.5-inch black wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR20 all-season performance tires, and new for the 2020 model is a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The steering wheel is quite similar to the SRT Hellcat trim, but the Scat Pack wheel is entirely leather-wrapped all of the way around. The SRT Hellcat wheel has a metal center-bottom portion. Like the SRT wheel, the Scat Pack wheel provides with shift paddles and an array of control center functions, such as gauge cluster options, Bluetooth command, volume controls for the sound system and more.
New Leather and Suede Combinations
New interior options have been added. For owners who enjoy the Sepia interior layout, but want more suede, the new Caramel interior package adds light brown leather and suede throughout the cabin. The car seats and door panels play off well amongst each other. Opting for the Sepia brings all leather. For those interested, this new color package is an option for these trims: GT Plus, R/T and R/T Scat Pack.
Carbon & Suede Package
Drivers can also opt for the new interior change named the Carbon & Suede package. For all Hemi-powered models (R/T, Scat Pack and Hellcat), owners gain carbon fiber accents to the instrument panel and console bezels paired with Dynamica suede on the headliner, sun visors and A-pillars. Dodge is prepared to showcase the new look with the Charger interior just in time for the Widebody to finally be available. The Widebody for the Challenger came out in 2017.
