There are exactly three trims consumers can choose from that carry different levels of performance and refinement. The 2022 Chrysler 300 trims include the 300 Touring, Touring L, and 300S. The Chrysler 300 comes standard with rear-wheel-drive and available all-wheel-drive. All Chrysler trims are available with rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. The highest level trim provides the larger engine and full amenities offered, including the best sound system.

For an entry-level engine, the Chrysler 300 has the trusted 3.6-Liter Pentastar V6 engine. Available on a number of other vehicles under the FCA umbrella, the 3.6-Liter Pentastar provides drivers with power as well as efficiency. The 292-horsepower 3.6-Liter Pentastar engine is paired to the Eight-Speed automatic transmission with Rotary E-Shift. The 3.6-Liter V6 Pentastar engine also has a 300 horsepower engine that comes with the 300S trim that produces 260 lb-ft of torque and a best-in-class V6 highway fuel economy of 30 mpg.

The best powertrain available of the Chrysler 300 lineup is the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The 5.7-Liter HEMI V8 engine offers best-in-class V8 363 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque, and all of that power gives Chrysler 300 remarkable acceleration. The 5.7-Liter HEMI V8 engine has the latest technology in the variable valve timing technology (VVT) that combines with the multi-displacement system to help save and provide greater gas mileage when driving at steady speeds whether on the highway or in the city. The 5.7-Liter provides drivers with a highway fuel economy of 25 mpg.

Transmission & Towing

The 300 comes with a standard rear-wheel drive, and an all-wheel drive is available as well. Riding comfort is a priority, and the 300 generally has a smooth ride. This Chrysler’s handling draws solid reviews. 

Exterior Features

The new 2022 Chrysler 300 makes a statement with its strong appearance. The signature look only grows more appreciated by owners over time. Standard features include automatic headlamps, chrome-trimmed LED tail lamps, heated exterior mirrors and solar control glass. Available adaptive xenon headlights with automatic leveling add a nice touch. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof is available on all trims, with the exception of the Chrysler 300 Touring. Wheel sizes range from 17 to 20 inches and buyers have the option of seven different colors.

Interior Features

Drivers are sure to be happy with the interior cabin of the 300. Standard features make the 300 feel elegant, including the leather-wrapped steering wheel, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and 60/40 folding seat, plus dual-zone automatic air conditioning. Depending on the trim level, the 2022 Chrysler 300 offers heated and ventilated front-row seats, heated second-row seats, fine leather upholstery, a blacklight sunshade, an automatic dimming exterior mirror and an upgraded, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. Buyers can choose between black, a combination of black/smoke, black/linen, indigo/linen and deep mocha for the interior colors.

The 300 seats up to five people and it comes standard with cloth upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. There is Nappa leather upholstery, heated rear seats, heated front seats, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel that is available. The sedan features a spacious interior, and both rows have ample room for passengers.

There can be three seated across the back without any trouble. The large doors make it easier to enter and exit the vehicle, and it’s also easy to find a good driving position. The seats could provide more support.

Entertainment

The 2022 Chrysler 300 provides modern integration with smartphones with the Uconnect 5C, the available 8.4-inch touchscreen, and steering wheel mounted audio controls. For drivers that want a hands-free experience, the 300 offers voice command options that work with Bluetooth, SiriusXM (and its over 150 channels), HD Radio and Apple Carplay and Android Auto integration. The available 19 GreenEdge speaker Harman Kardon Premium sound system provides a high-quality audio experience for listeners. The GreenEdge amplifier and subwoofer only enhance the enjoyment of hearing music for owners. 4G LTE Wi-Fi is available as well for drivers to enjoy.

The 2022 Chrysler 300 has tons of safety features that are standard.
