The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a new luxury three-row option that upholds the luxury appeal that has earned the brand plenty of customers. Changes from the previous model year include upgrades for various trims like the Limited that includes a fresh 18-inch x 8.0-inch polished and painted aluminum wheels as a standard perk. Included as the base engine remains the trusted 3.6-Liter Pentastar engine with 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque. This high-end SUV is capable of towing as much as 6,200 pounds. But Jeep loyalists know this is the one Jeep entry that expands the powertrain portfolio to include the 5.7-Liter HEMI V8 engine if an owner wanted for the Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve trims. The powerful HEMI engine choice pushes the horsepower up to 357 and invokes 390 lb-ft of torque. The class-leading towing capacity of 7,200 pounds is what makes many owners clamor for the top-tier choice. Either engine selection will be fitted with the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep built three 4×4 systems to allow owners to handle the many terrains expected to come along the path of Jeep owners that do more than commute. An optional 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen is a sweet touch to pair with the UConnect 5 system. 

The seven trim offering is listed as follows: Laredo is the base, Laredo X, Altitude, Altitude X, Limited, Overland and Summit. The exterior body color can come in the choices of Baltic Grey, Bright White, Diamond Black, Midnight Sky, Rocky Mountain, Silver Zynith, and finally the Velvet Red.
