A Stunning New Dodge BEV Daytona Concept Arrives

Dodge has unveiled the newest concept and a potential addition to its revamped lineup. A fully-electric ride that supplants the Challenger as the top-Dodge option for buyers looking for a pure adrenaline rush when driving. The Charger Daytona SRT EV announced is the first-ever Banshee powered Dodge vehicle. Without any internal combustion technology, this will be an epic first foot forward for the brand. Cleverly enough, there’s no carbon foot print left behind with this stylish and slick ride. Dodge has created a massive investment with $22 billion being added into the business and we are still seeing the results.
Greatness Coming Out of Dodge
The all-new fully electric coupe Charger takes on the popular Daytona name, but there’s nothing beachy here. No bright yellow colors, no horrid spoiler on the back; just raw electric power and a stunning Batmobile-like quality to a stunning example of a concept car. The Fratzonic exhaust is a new addition that produces noise based only off acceleration, around the same levels of noise as a Hellcat. The difference is the eRupt “multi-speed” transmission and the retro pistol-grip shifter.
“The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept exists because performance made us do it. Dodge is about muscle, attitude and performance, and the brand carries that chip on its shoulder and into the BEV segment through a concept loaded with patents, innovations, and performance features that embody the electrified muscle of tomorrow,” added Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis in a statement.
More Details On the Dodge Daytona EV
Included for the Dodge EV product is that is pushing out the 707 horsepower supercharged Hellcat V8 in favor of the 800-volt high performance electric drivetrain. The eMuscle propulsion system will be stacked among the slate of Stellantis brands, like Dodge, including Jeep, Ram, and perhaps even Chrysler. Not to mention, Dodge has released the new 2023 Dodge Hornet for customers to look at. The 2023 Dodge Hornet is expected to have a starting cost around $30,000 MSRP (Plus destination fee) and around a 30 mile electric range as this hybrid will offer customers more bang for their buck than any other Dodge vehicle on the market today. Owners can also expect a UConnect 5 infotainment system to be included. For more information on what we have to offer buyers today, check out our newest Dodge vehicle inventory.
