Short version: no. Not yet, and none announced. Type “Dodge Challenger electric” into a search bar and you’ll get a wall of results promising one, mostly written back when the rumor still had legs. A few even cite Dodge executives. What those execs actually said was that Stellantis owns the nameplate and keeps it in a drawer; that’s trademark housekeeping, not a product plan.

Here’s where things actually landed: the two-door muscle car survived, but the badge on the fender changed.

What Happened to the Nameplate

Dodge retired the Challenger after 2023 and rolled its job into the Charger. One nameplate, two body styles, three powertrains. Splitting a standalone coupe and sedan across separate platforms costs money that a brand this size would rather pour into horsepower.

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack is the quick one. Not “quick for an electric vehicle (EV).” Quick, full stop.

Zero to sixty takes 3.3 seconds, putting it ahead of the supercharged Hellcat Redeye that used to sit at the top of the brand’s food chain.

Range, Charging, and Real-World Use

You get up to 267 miles on a charge, and the charge port uses NACS natively, opening up the Tesla network without digging through the trunk for an adapter, despite Dodge tossing in a J1772 adapter, anyway. 

Opting for the Track Pack lowers that range figure; sticky tires and a track-tuned suspension aren’t free. Fair trade, though. Nobody specs a Track Pack for the commute.

Gas Muscle Is Still on the Menu

Nobody is being pushed into a battery here:

• Charger R/T: 420 horsepower (the most standard horsepower of any muscle car).
• Charger Scat Pack: 550 horsepower from the twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six.
• Super Bee Launch Edition: 600 horsepower, the highest specific horsepower muscle car built.

Every engine option comes standard with all-wheel drive in either two-door or four-door configurations.
