Dodge Is Perfecting Final Muscle Car Of Current Gen
Back in July, a report mentioned the possibility of the final Dodge Challenger being made, as the report suggested they could be changing the name to another nameplate. Maybe that’s why Dodge is taking their time and pulling back from their final reveal for their “Last Call” farewell showcase. The debut for the long-awaiting crowd pleaser is on hold. The SEMA showcase in early November prove to be a little too early as some supply issues have slowed the process. However, we believe this was decided on with the future in mind. Rather than have a final run with all the products shown back-to-back-to-back-to- back-to-back-to-backs weeks as they have done, they are saving this final Dodge entry to be remembered as a stand alone ride. Supply concerns are labeled the disrupting factor, but marking is more likely the reasoning. The impact will be served far greater with further intrigue. The wait till this debut might have changed, but the result is still over a year away. The 2024 Dodge muscle EV will be a major spectacle and gain lots of traction for the brand. Not a doubt about the red hot fever that has swollen since the brand announced their change of the muscle entries a few years back and now the reality is mere months away.
The Fast and the Few
Imagine those who can’t get their hands on the new and limited entries, as few as 200 or 300 vehicles are being made for those unique final current generation Charger and Challenger rides. The final “Last Call” effort is expected to offer a massive 900 horsepower engine stock when using the recommended E85 fuel. No other information has been released thus far. Keep in mind, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis added a 1FAST29 license plate on the back of this final Last Call muscle car. The new special edition released, including the King Daytona Charger. Keep in mind, on top of being exclusive, these rides are collector’s items from day one.
