Dodge Sales Surge Through the First Quarter of 2021

Dodge has concentrated their energies on delivering high-caliber quality vehicles that can withstand the test of time. Now, as we look at the results of what customers think of the Dodge brand, the news is buyers are greatly in favor of opting for Dodge. For the forthcoming 2022 model year, we anticipate some muscle car surprises to come out as was the case in 2020. Last year, we saw Dodge produce the first-ever SRT Super Stock muscle car for the Dodge Challenger. Might the Charger gain a Super Stock of its own? Dodge could look to update on that unique trim package at some point this year. In 2021, Dodge has put together different ways to enhance the brand and sales have returned these changes, but the growth of sales within the Dodge brand is remarkable.
Customers Are Snatching Up the Entire Dodge Line-Up
Dodge totaled an impressive 5 percent rise in the first quarter of 2021. In the United States, a total of 469,651 vehicles were moved which is over 22,000 more vehicles over this time in 2020. Overall, the sales of the Dodge Durango surged over 61% compared to last year. Dodge is still seeing growth among nearly every vehicle, including some we’ve noticed that are quite rare. Among the remaining new Dodge Viper vehicles, we learned that four new, original 2017 Dodge Viper cars were sold in the first quarter of 2021. Dodge has moved just nine in the past two years, but that’s not too shabby for a vehicle that was last in production several years ago. In the Stellantis report that covers the Dodge brand’s total sales after the first quarter (three months) of 2021, we noticed the Dodge Dart also had some sales. The Dodge Dart was last produced for the 2016 model year and is a rare sedan sale in 2021.
