Engine and Battery

The Pacific Hybrid is its own model and (apart from the non-hybrid model) and comes with two trim levels, the base trim, the Premium, and the upgraded trim, the Platinum. The Pacifica Hybrid is equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which sounds similar to the engine in the standard Pacifica, but the engine has been modified to work more efficiently and to work in hybrid mode with dual electric motors and a 16 kWh 360 V lithium-ion battery.

Don’t worry, the hybrid doesn’t mean drivers sacrifice capability. The Pacifica Hybrid produces up to 260 horsepower. If you think that is impressive, check out the fuel efficiency and range numbers! The Pacifica Hybrid has a fuel economy of 84 MPGe, which means miles per gallon equivalent. In addition, the vehicle has a 33-mile electric range and with a fully charged battery and a full tank of gas, the minivan has a total range of 566 miles.

Style and Convenience

Minivans aren’t known for being the best looking vehicles, however, the Chrysler Pacifica changed that. The van is sleek and stylish on the outside and upscale with plenty of convenient features on the inside. Like the Pacifica, the Pacifica Hybrid has three rows of seating and the convenient Stow ‘n Go seating system for the vehicle’s third row. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid provides up to 140.5 cubic feet of cargo space when the seating area is properly configured and the trunk alone has 32.3 cubic feet of space.

Let’s talk standard features for both style and convenience! The Pacifica Hybrid Premium has leather seats, seating for seven, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and LED interior door handle lights. The Pacifica Hybrid Platinum trim comes with even more luxurious features including Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel, heated front an optional tri-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and so much more.

On the exterior of the Pacifica, Hybrid Premium trim are features like 17-inch wheels, all season tires, 4-wheel disc regenerative brakes, a black stow ‘n place roof rack, heated mirrors, a power liftgate chrome accents and a shark fin antenna. These features are both for style and convenience. The Pacifica Hybrid Platinum is equipped with 18-inch polished aluminum wheels, a chrome Stow ‘n Place roof rack (a standard roof rack for your cargo convenience), a hands-free power liftgate, and chrome power mirrors.

Technology

Just like the non-hybrid Pacifica, the hybrid model is full of technology for both entertainment and safety. A one-year subscription of SiriusXM radio, UConnect 8.4 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, UConnect Access, integrated voice command with Bluetooth, Bluetooth audio streaming and enabled navigation all come standard for the base model. The Pacifica Hybrid Platinum comes with features like HD radio, Bluetooth touchpad remote controls, a blue-ray DVD player, active noise control and so much more.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is built for families, so safety was a huge priority in the engineering process. Safety features in the Pacifica Hybrid include a backup camera, lane departure control, adaptive cruise control with stop and go technology, and forward collision warning with emergency braking all come standard.

Price and Warranty

The price of the van varies depending on trim level. The base Pacifica Hybrid Premium trim level has an MSRP of $41,995 and the Platinum model has a $44,995 price tag.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid comes with a three-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
