J.D. Power Says Ram Brand Tops 2024 Quality Study

Ram has taken a giant step forward towards opinions that matter in the automotive business; earning a distinction from J.D. Power. This year, Ram took home yet again their annual U.S. Initial Quality Study top award and this makes Ram the only truck-exclusive brand ever to do so. The long-awaited Ram 1500 REV, as it will be known, the first-ever light-duty electric vehicle from the brand. We expect by the end of 2024, although there is a chance that Ram could hold the vehicle until 2025 to ensure success at launch. But this ride is sure to be the one that will win a host of next year’s awards. 

What Makes Ram 1500 So Advanced? 

Engineers have dedicated time and care to build the brand up with enhancements that take care of their owners and add luxurious components that push the trucks they built to new heights. Ram has finished among the three leading brands in the industry four times in the last five years, including a first-place standing in 2021, the first such achievement by a truck-exclusive brand in the lifetime of J.D. Power’s history. Rounding out this year’s achievement is the Ram 1500’s award in the Full-size Light-Duty Pickup segment, and a third-place finish with the Heavy-Duty Pickups for the Ram 2500/3500.

This news marked a much larger significance because this year’s study included new metrics that customers will appreciate; it’s harder for an award to become bestowed.
