Jeep Sells Both Luxurious and Off-Road Capable 2022 Grand Cherokee L

New L Kendall Dodge

When the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L debuts, this Jeep vehicle will debut the freshly arrived architecture that is larger than the previous Grand Cherokee. This is the first time the Grand Cherokee receives an upgrade in a decade. It has been 10 long years but, the future is both luxurious as well as staying true to the Jeep brand’s off-road heritage. The fresh face delivered by Jeep rides on a 1.9-inch-longer wheelbase (4.1 inches longer overall) and is 2.1 inches wider, though its height is lower by just 0.6 inch. Engineers gave the L a larger exterior with more interior volume though Jeepers will note the difference between the two, with the Jeep Grand Cherokee L affording the front and middle rows more space, at an apparent 3.2-cubic-foot expense to the third-row seating. As for storage capabilities, the room afforded to owners is noticeably similar. The tape measure would read the same measurement, except the perks afforded to drivers of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L experience a wide third-row accessibility advantage.

Upgrades of the Grand Cherokee L

Modern innovation has found a way to make life easier for owners. Jeep made the second-row seats that tilt downward and easily slide to maintain the backrest angle to allow a forward-facing child seat to remain installed. Spacing differences are only the start. The Grand Cherokee L represents the fifth-generation of the Grand Cherokee but stands on its own as a modern icon of brilliant luxury from its appearance; both inside and out.

Breaking down the trims for the 2022 Grand Cherokee L, starting at $52,495 MSRP for the base trim, the Laredo, this is followed by the Limited trim ($59,995 MSRP), Overland ($68,995 MSRP), and Summit ($74,495 MSRP) before reaching the top-tier $78,490 MSRP for the new  Summit Reserve (before options), or $81,895 if opting for the larger V8 engine.

L Stands For Luxury, But Every Jeep Offers Off-Road Abilities

Jeep is the company that has made fully capable, truly off-road ready vehicles. While some of the newest Jeep vehicles have been geared for a luxurious feel, the Grand Cherokee L is still more than able to experience a vast array of terrains and take the lesser driven path. Jeep is ready to roll out all these new models and trims they are offering. Most recently, the Illinois Belvidere Assembly Plant, responsible for building the Jeep Cherokee has also resumed full production as of the start of this month in June 2021. The Jeep brand is working towards offering more for customers that will include the upcoming Jeep Wagoneer and all-new Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
