Jeep is proud to see its iconic Jeep Wrangler mid-size SUV turn heads with its impressive Tuscadero Pink body color. The body color only came out in August that has gained 10% of the total orders, which represents exactly 30,000 orders. That is quite a lot of orders to push through, but many customers have fallen in love with this unique body color. The color is described by as Jeep as “a deep and intense chromatic magenta”. The wild reason Jeep selected this color is quite comical.
How Did Jeep Decide On the Tuscadero Pink Color?
The Jeep brand pulls the color as a reference from the motorcycle-riding mechanic Pinky Tuscadero from the TV show “Happy Days”. This character was always dressed wearing the remarkable pink shade. Now Jeep owners are able to ride with the same color and impress with the added style and improved interior upgrades added to the Wrangler in recent years. From the previous generation to the current generation Jeep Wrangler, the addition of easier to remove windows and front wind-shield, the Wrangler is a more accessible and fun to use option. Thanks to more recent additions, the 4xe trim, allows for greater fuel economy with the use of a hybrid-electric engine to power the vehicle and places the Wrangler in a new realm.
