August 1st, 2016 by

Unlike other heavy-duty trucks with small cabs, the Ram mega cab provides drivers with plenty of room for cargo in the truck bed, and plenty of room for extra passengers and covered space.

Offering the feel of a spacious sedan, the 4-door Ram mega cab is available on both the Ram 2500 and 3500 4×2 or 4×4 truck models and it is optional on several different Ram 2500 and 2500 models including the SLT, Lone Star, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Big Horn, and Limited.

Passenger and Cargo Dimensions

Interior truck cab cargo space is important to a lot of truck lovers, especially those with families.  Larger than the Ram crew cab, the Ram mega cab is a 4-door five seater truck gives passengers plenty of room to stretch out and be comfortable on long drive.

The Ram mega cab comes equipped with 41.0 inches of front leg room, and 43.3 inches of rear leg room. There is also more than 60 inches of hip and shoulder room in both the front and rear of the cab.

The Ram mega cab, the largest cab in its class, has 7.6 cubic feet of luggage capacity, and 72.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity within the cab. The mega cab ram trucks are available with storage containers under the back seats, that way cargo doesn’t crowd the space for passengers in the back row.

In addition to plenty of interior space, Ram mega cab trucks come with several standard convenience features including 5-inch touchscreen display and plenty of audio hookups for mobile devices. Buyers have the several upgrade options like heated front seats on the SLT, Big Horn and Lone Star trims, and heated seats are included on the Laramie, Laramie Longhorn and Limited trims.

The Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks are practical, attractive, and comfortable, it doesn’t get any better than that for truck drivers. Click here to see out Ram mega cab inventory at Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
