2018 Ram 1500 Rebel

Introduced in 2015, the on- and off-road Ram 1500 Rebel brought Ram’s light-duty lineup full circle. Rugged and bold, the Ram 1500 Rebel has a unique grille and tailgate and it’s equipped with features that make it fun to drive. The Ram 1500 has a four-door crew cab configuration with a 5’7” truck bed and it is available with two engine options and the option of two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive.

Off-Road Equipment + Features

The Ram 1500 Rebel has some special off-road equipment that other Ram 1500 models don’t have, including a Four-Corner Air Suspension, which gives the Ram 1500 Rebel a ground clearance of 10.3 inches, which is higher than any other Ram 1500. The Ram 1500 Rebel rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels with matte black details and all season tires. Since unpaved roads can be muddy and messy, the Rebel is equipped with front wheel well liners and black wheel flares, which provide extra clearance and coverage. Other off-road features include the standard tow hooks and class IV receiving hitch.


Though the outside of the Ram 1500 Rebel has a rugged look, the interior is comfortable and well-equipped with modern features. The Rebel comes standard with heated front seats, and all seats are covered in premium cloth that has an embossed tread pattern. The truck has a convenient  rear underseat storage compartment, 8.4-inch touchscreen, HD radio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Uconnect 4C, which is the newest version of FCA’s infotainment system.

Starting MSRP of 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel is $45,295 (plus destination fees).

Ram 2500 Power Wagon

Ram’s other off-road truck option is the Ram 2500 Power Wagon, which is a larger and more powerful heavy-duty off-road option. The Ram 2500 Power Wagon is a four-door crew cab and it  only available with four-wheel-drive and one engine.

Off-Road Equipment and Features

The Ram 2500 Power Wagon has some extra off-road features that aren’t available on the Ram 1500 Rebel. One of the coolest features on the Power Wagon is the 12,000-pound electronic WARN Winch that has a 90-foot cable. The winch is ideal for helping vehicles out when they are stuck and it can also pull heavy equipment that needs to be moved.  The Power Wagon has an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar as well as front and rear axles.

The Ram 2500 Power Wagon has a bold look completed with “Power Wagon” decals all around the truck. The truck has 17-inch wrapped in 33-inch Goodyear All-Terrain tires and Bilstein® Gas-Charged Monotube Shocks. The truck’s interior includes a five-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth with integrated voice command and a rear underseat storage compartment.

The 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon has a starting MSRP of $52,295 (plus destination fees).
