2022 Renegade RED Kendall Dodge

The 2023 Jeep Renegade returns to the Jeep lineup with some new entry-level features to make note of and a new entry level trim to start this model year off with a freshened up approach to last year. The Latitude is now the entry-level trim for the 2023 model year for the Renegade. This might be the last Renegade that does not offer the 4xe trim, as the Jeep brand is expanding this for the coming years through 2024 and 2025. We all know about the perks of driving a Jeep vehicle with 4xe trim.

Jeep Adding Changes To the Renegade

The pricing for the 2023 model year has not been revealed just yet. Currently, the MSRP for the Renegade for the 2022 model year begins at $26,290 MSRP (Plus destination fee) for the front-wheel-drive version and $27,690 MSRP (Plus destination fee) with 4WD. The 2022 Renegade Latitude runs $30,740 MSRP (Plus destination fee) before options. The revision makes the Latitude the base Renegade, and means that there are no more front-wheel-drive trims. These Jeep vehicles will see a rush of buyers when they do arrive later in 2022, offering a possible sellout situation like the Wrangler did.

Group Changes For the Renegade

Jeep created a newly revised Premium Group for the Latitude that nestles a power eight-way driver’s seat with two-way lumbar adjustment and a manual four-way passenger’s seat. Both seats are heated. Jeep also included a heated steering wheel, automatically dimming rearview mirror, windshield wiper de-icer, roof rails, and cornerer fog lamps. The 2022 Renegade Latitude also offers the Convenience Group, this group contains almost all the gear in the Premium Group, while adding a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, a 40/20/40 rear seat with pass-through, and rain-sensitive windshield wipers. The 2023 changes have not been added as of yet.

We have learned the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk trim adds two new packages. The Elite Group was the Latitude’s Premium Group but for the off-road-focused model, this now is fitted for the Trailhawk and includes a power eight-way driver’s seat with two-way lumbar adjustment and a manual four-way passenger’s seat, both heated, as well as a heated steering wheel, premium leather-trimmed bucket seats, and the windshield wiper de-icer. The other is the Premium Lighting Group which brings dual-function LED headlights, LED taillights, and LED fog lights. At the time of writing, choosing the Premium Lighting Group on the 2023 Renegade configurator automatically adds the Elite Group and the Sun and Sound Group with the panoramic roof and premium audio, so this one could be pricey.

More Perks of the Renegade

For the Limited, adaptive cruise control will be standard in 2023. A new High Altitude package comprises 19-inch Granite Crystal wheels on all-season tires, a black grille with satin surround, and gloss-black exterior inflections. Owners can opt for the Limited Elite Group that adds LED exterior lighting for just about every light fixture, automatic high beams, and Jeep’s Parallel & Perpendicular Park & Unpark-Assist technology. We are in the throes of a massive launch of Jeep rides that carry the 4xe trim as the golden age of EVs made by Jeep has launched
