Think during the era of Coronavirus that customers would stay away from buying fast muscle cars? Think again. The demand is still strong for the Dodge. In fact, the second half of 2019 saw fantastic sales for both the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. Dodge hit record numbers in that second half. The largest seller among the Dodge muscle cars is the Scat Pack, which has completely sold out. This isn’t a surprise to those who know how impressive the Scat Pack is as a trim with its upgraded features and enhancements over the base trim.

“Our number one seller right now is the Scat Pack, and we probably have 200 Scat Packs in the whole country, they’re gone…by the middle of July we should have stock built back up,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger vehicles.

What Helped Drive Dodge Sales

The approach Dodge took to generate further sales included offering its Dodge Power Dollars campaign. For back-to-back years, the promotion helped grow sales. In fact, Dodge sold 500 million worth of horsepower in vehicles sold. The Dodge brand has restocked levels of muscle cars across the country. The goal of Dodge has been to continue to offer buyers vehicles that offer the heart-racing power of V8 engines, wicked fast quarter-mile times, and the best of production muscle cars. Since the 1960s, Dodge has built the Charger. The Charger was actually a concept vehicle created back in the 1940s but became the vehicle that reached its iconic status with what it has done in the late 1960s and the inspiration for the brand continues from those early models. Today, the 2020 Dodge Charger offers five trim levels, including the SRT Hellcat Redeye.

Dodge Moves In 2020

Dodge offered customers the Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition that only sold 501 units to choose from. The 717 horsepower engine, premium leather upholstery, and exterior and interior upgrades that help make the vehicle stand out. The seventh-generation Dodge Charger will see an update early this decade when the new generation is released. In 2006, Dodge brought back the Charger nameplate to great success. It’s only built on itself and expanded in its performance since then. The platform might be the same, but Dodge has increased its horsepower and luxury over the years.

The growth of the Dodge muscle car lineup has been so successful, Dodge has added an SRT Hellcat to its newest Dodge Durango three-row SUV. It’s been a long time For those who are ready to drive the newest Dodge Charger, check with us at Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram
