2019 has seen a significant increase in Dodge Charger news. The upcoming 2020 Dodge Charger set to be added to dealerships includes the first-ever Dodge Charger SRT Widebody. A few new special editions have been added this year for the current Charger, including the newest Dodge Charger Daytona Edition. (We fell in love with the Charger Daytona Edition!) Most notable for many customers is the Power Dollars promotion that buyers are taking in droves. These are plenty of the reasons there has been an 8.8% increase in sales through the first half of 2019 in sales from the previous year to a total of 45,046 vehicles sold. Let’s look through the most important headlines of the Dodge Charger to come out and highlight what customers can expect with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and their Dodge brand.

More On the 2019 Sales

From August through September 30th, 2019, the Dodge Power Dollars promotion is a great incentive for those hoping for a wonderful deal to drive home a new 2019 Charger. The Power Dollars promotion helps buyers gain a cash rebate of $10 for each unit of horsepower in the vehicle they are purchasing. That means those opting for the top-tier Charger, for example, would be able to receive an immense $7,070 rebate since the Charger SRT Hellcat provides 707 horsepower. The promotion works for all trims of the latest Charger trims. The Dodge promotion is also applied to the 2019 Dodge Challenger and 2019 Dodge Durango as well. The entire Dodge SRT family of vehicles has better high-performance than any brand on the market today. What else would a car buyer want?

Looking Forward To the Widebody

Perhaps the one thing customers are clamoring for is the 2020 Dodge Charger in the Widebody, which adds rubber and adds more horsepower and traction for owners. The rest of the sedan market has seen slumping sales, but the Dodge Charger has only experienced the opposite. Recently, Kevin Hellman, Dodge brand manager gave some insight into how he views the current shopping landscape in regards to the success of the Dodge Charger and the upcoming Widebody trim.

“There are people that have been doing it in the aftermarket here and there, but I think directly from us is really what people have been waiting for. Other than the additional performance that we’ve added in terms of getting the grip to the ground, the car looks beautiful, too.” – Kevin Hellman, Dodge Brand Manager
