This is more than an appearance feature added as the X trim offers a new 3.2-Liter V6 engine that replaces the outgoing 2.4-Liter inline-four powertrain. The Cherokee X will be ready to go later this spring in 2022 with standard all-wheel-drive and revamps some exterior features as well. The 2022 Jeep Cherokee X has an MSRP price point at $35,590 (Plus destination fee) and drivers gain a 1.0-inch suspension lift and all-terrain tires to allow for great times on the road. The new powertrain supplies 271 horsepower inside the new 3.2-Liter V6 engine and all-wheel drive. The Jeep Cherokee supplies the Trailhawk trim for those who want the most sophisticated Active Drive II system with a transfer case.
Into the 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trims
The 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is only a bit more at $38,640 MSRP (Plus destination fee) and the top-tier trim is the Limited beginning at $40,340 MSRP (Plus destination). The Jeep Cherokee X carries a new front fascia, a throwback “Four Wheel Drive” text that reads along the rear with “X” badges on the sides, a hood graphic, and all perks that have helped the Cherokee become one of the most popular off-road SUVs in the market. The Cherokee X is the lowest cost of all the options. The X trim also offers a turbocharged 2.0-Liter inline-four option for $695. The Altitude and Latitude trims are removed as well as the 2.4-Liter inline-four with 180 horsepower. Drivers get much more power and strength. Buyers can expect the Jeep lineup to have a 4xe trim for each vehicle by 2025.
