The landscape of pickup trucks is growing with more options becoming available. This is a good thing for customers looking to add some excitement for their next automotive choice. For any readers hoping to gain some influence into mixing their typical routine with going with a traditional pickup choice, we have one suggestion to consider; go all out with the all-new Jeep Gladiator Mojave. Does having a vehicle that can handle going nearly anywhere sound appealing? We’re certain that the joy of owning a Jeep vehicle will extend to friends and family of any owner. Car and Driver named the Jeep Gladiator to its 10Best list for plenty of reasons, allow us to go over just some of them.

Owners Expect More From A Pickup

The days of owning a pickup to only serve as a workhorse are gone. Today, drivers expect to be able to experience a comfortable ride inside and have plenty of modern technology to appease even the most high-tech savvy fan. And there are more perks found in the 2021 Jeep Gladiator that is rarely found in pickups these days; a manual transmission. This four-door compact pickup serves as the ideal choice for those who want to be able to control their vehicle and feel a responsive ride that can handle the off-road with ease and look phenomenal doing so. The Jeep brand has worked hard to ensure their vehicles offer the most valuable and modern infotainment system customers can find. The Uconnect system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto availability with a responsive, lush 8.4-inch color touchscreen and an available Alpine audio system that serves as the centerpiece for the interior.

Opting For the Off-Road Mojave

The Mojave trim is the alternative to the Rubicon trim option. The top-rated Gladiator trims offer customers more to love. The Mojave is the first Jeep branded vehicle to be Desert Rated. For those that want to not worry about a trip to the sandy trails or a beach outing directly near a shoreline or traveling to where sand or mud or heavy off-road trails are, this is the ideal choice. The Gladiator pickup is fortified for traditional off-roading with its four-wheel-drive systems, added skid plates, and enhanced tires. The Mojave is designed to excel in higher-speed off-road environments that owners can enjoy like never before. The powertrain provided for the 2021 Gladiator Mojave trim is the potent 285-horsepower 3.6-Liter V6 paired with its six-speed manual transmission. Allowing drivers to handle the adventure they crave is what makes the Jeep brand stand out above other options.

More In-Depth On the Gladiator Mojave

Along with a reinforced frame, 33-inch-tall tires on 17-inch wheels, and rises to the Gladiator  wheelbase and track, the Mojave gains new 2.5-inch Fox internal-bypass dampers, a 1.0-inch front suspension lift, and secondary Fox hydraulic front jounce dampers, which serve as additional heavy-duty, short-stroke shock absorbers that help prevent the suspension from bottoming out. The Dana 44 axles are comparable to the Rubicon trim, the Mojave also includes more muscular front steering knuckles and a weightier rear axle housing. The only thing the Mojave trim does not offer is the new EcoDiesel engine, which is worth noting.

Owners will also enjoy the freshly added Off-Road Plus drive mode that dials back the traction control’s intervention and intensifies the responses of the throttle and automatic transmission. The 2021 Jeep Gladiator begins at the same $45,370 MSRP (Plus destination fee) base price as the Gladiator Rubicon trim. Want to drive a Mojave in another trim? There’s choices to do that with as well from Jeep. Looking for the right place to find and drive Jeep vehicles? Look no further this holiday season!
